IPOB which means ‘’indigenous people of Biafra ‘’ is a name used to recognize the igbo nation and country Biafra yet to be approved by the united nations (UN)

The biafran nation comprises of only the igbo people and their blood related companions. According to history , the biafran tribe is one out of the twelve tribes of Israel, it was also recorded that that Eri who is the father of igbo people hails from Israel and was the 5^th son of Gad, the seventh son of Jacob .(Genesis 46:15-18);  He escaped from Egypt during the slavery period of the Israelite's in Egypt (particularly immediately after the tower of Babel)  with a group of companions just before the exedous of the Israelite's out from Egypt centuries ago. They traveled by sea and finally arrived in a river known as the Agbanabo in present day Anambara (Omamabala) state, and there was their final destination as they went and settled in the hinterland in Aguleri, but there was not known as Aguleri before.

                Agulu was the eldest son of Eri who took over from his father after his death, Agulu who was known as Agulu-nwa-eri joined his name and that of his father and named it after the land that his father have lived and died and him Agulu still living , to bring about the name Agulu-eri (Aguleri). Moreover as their population increased, other children of Eri move to settle in other places presently occupied by the igbo people today. Menri was one of Agulu’s siblings who went to settle in a big forest where he engaged in hunting and other spiritual works like other Eri children and named the place Agu-ukwu, Nri kingdom.

                This was how biafrans came to settle in the eastern part of present Nigeria. IPOB speaks Igbo language which may also vary according to one’s dialect, it was in 1914 that they were amalgamated with the hausa and Yoruba tribes to form one Nigeria by sir Fredrick Lord Lugard, one of the colonial masters that colonized Nigeria from Britain. IPOB were never one and can no longer pretend to be one with hausa and Yoruba tribes, their true citizenship can only be traced back to Israel, their true fatherland  were they came from, I can only say they are citizen of Nigeria by nationalization and wish to denounce their Nigerian citizenship. they are not even African's but i will say they bought a settlement in Africa particularly eastern Nigeria.
