TH LAST GIFT JESUS GAVE TO MANKIND
Jesus Christ our personal lord and savior who came to the world to save us from sin as the father has willed, gave us many gift in order to take part and always be covered by the work of salvation He has done for us.some of the gift include thew word of God and the commandments of God which are the most important one.Others include the sacraments baptism, reconciliation, the holy Eucharist, etc which will always help us to remain under the umbrella of Jesus Christ and to always take part in the sacrifice on the cross of Calvary that pleased God for the sins of men.
Jesus Christ at the point of his death on the cross gave man the a gift which became the most important gift that will help us to saved, and what is the gift?, it is the blessed VIRGIN MARY.In john 29:26-28 Jesus commended the care of his mother to the beloved apostle john when he said ''mother behold thy son, son behold thy mother''. On saying this he is not only talking to John only, but John there represent all that call himself a christian.giving us MARY as a mother and making us (Christians) to be the children of mother Mary; then ask yourself what is the role of a mother to a son and the role of a son to a mother???
As a mother, she has been giving all it takes to show us the (lead us to Jesus Christ who is god himself), she has been task to teach us all we need as the heart of Jesus our lord pleases. Jesus Christ also by that act made Mary our mother and also our mediatrix between Christians and God through Jesus Christ. i.e Mary can intercede for us to god.
We as the children of Mary we are task to honor her, not only as a mother to us but as the mother of our lord (luke1:43). we owe her our maximum respect, we can also ask her to pray for us to almighty god who gave him the power,just as the way she interceded for the celebrants during the wedding at cana (john 2:1-12), we are also task to listen to her advise and imitate her way of life in order that we may achieve heaven as she has done.
if you call yourself a follower of Christ (Christian), you have to accept all the gift god gave us and make use of them in order to be saved.some of this gift include:
*Virgin Mary *word of God *holy spirit *baptism *holy Eucharist *confession and reconciliation *etc.
