THE TEAM THAT GAVE GOLDENBOOT IT’S NAME

I don’t think that golden boot football club, an armature sports team located in Nigeria will ever forget this set of players who came together as a team, played with their whole heart and took GBFC to the level they are. They made the club’s name very popular and strong. These players include:

v OFFOR JOACHIM--- A goalkeeper that is very talented in goal keeping. He hails from eluama lokpaukwu in umunneochi  L.G.A. of abia state.He is 5_1/2ft tall and 15years of age.  Very good at diving and punching.  He is popularly known as Achin- post all over the town.

v OKOYE UCHECHI MARTINS—hails from the same place from the same place with the goalkeeper, plays as a right full back(2) in the field of play, very good in defending,  crossing and pulling out of the ball and was the team captain. He is about 5ft tall, 17years of age and very devoted in terms of serving the club.

v NWEKE EPHRAIM .C.—The club’s the clubs treasurer and is their one and only left full back player(3). Very good in defending and marking of the ball when in possession with the opponent. He also play as an outside left and as a supporting striker. He is the most talented in penalty shooting, very humble and well disciplined and was nicknamed Marcelo . He is 15years of age and about 5.3ft tall.

v DIEGWU OBED .O.—He is the club’s secretary and play the role of a defensive

midfielder (4) in the field of play. Very good in target shooting and playing of outside 18 shoots, he can defend with the last drop of blood and  was the clubs engine room. He is about 4.5ft tall and 16years of age.

v AKPAGU SYLVESTER OBINNA—The youngest star of the team and the best player.

plays as a central defender (5), he plays like david luiz of Chelsea and that made people to nick named him LUIZ. He is 14years of and about 5.4ft in terms of height. He hails from amaubiri lokpaukwu and is a brother to sub-lieutenant D.C Akpagu. He also receive the award of being addressed as ‘’football made easy’’ by the clubs coach.

v IMEDIEGWU LONGINUS—This is another central defender of the club and plays 6 in the pitch. He is highly good in defense and usually defend with the last of his blood ,5ft in height and 16years of age.

v NWEKE KIZITO—He is the first captain of the club and the club’s outside right winger. His good ball crossing always result to a goal and has purchased the club numerous goals. he is 15yrs of age and is about 5.5ft tall. He is also very good in dribbling.

v UKACHUKWU BARNABAS— Popularly known as ‘’Diego Milito’’ is the clubs central midfielder (8), very creative and pass initiator. He is well behaved and well loved by the coach due to his character and caring towards the coach and he was addressed as coach’s son. He is about 5.6ft tall and 16years of age.

IBEH LONGINUS—This is the club’s hit-man, he play as a striker(9) and is very confident when in possession of the ball. He has been popularly nicknamed after two English player ‘’Cotinho’’ of Liverpool and ‘’Payet’’ of west ham united, due to his pattern of playing. He is 15yrs of age and about4.5ft tall.

v UMEH LEONARD—popularly known as ‘’Alonso’’  is the club’s assistant captain right from time, He plays 10 for this wonderful team and is a very good dribbler and pass initiator. His wonderful chest control ability made him to assume this igbo title ‘’obi-agu’’. He is 16years of age and about 5ft tall.

v OKEKE ONYEBUCHI—A.K.A. dieder drogba is a wonderful legend for the club, who plays outside left (11) for this team. He has been a cutting material, a nice shooter and a good header right from time. He is 17years of age and about 4.5ft tall

 

                                                                                                        Other wonderful and nice players that are the team substitute are:

AMARAMIRO JOSHUA ----supporting striker (8) and a wonder shoot on target player. His good heading ability also makes way for him. He is nicknamed ‘’Pizaro’’, 5.8ft tall and 17years of age.

OGBONNA PROMISE—This is another wonderful striker (9) or outside right winger (7), who is very talented in goal scoring and dribbling as well as crossing. He is popularly known as ‘’Ronaldo’’, 5.5ft tall and 15yrs of age.

OKOYE COLLINS—a.k.a DROGBA jnr, is another upcoming star of the club, He can play all wings but more perfect as a defensive midfielder. he is 12yrs of age and about 5.1ft tall.

OKOYE EMMANUEL C.: Who hails from  eluama lokpaukwu in the same umunneochi LGA of Abia state, he the founder and chief coach of golden boot fc. He is a graduate of abia state university and a great man in terms of football. Currently he has good players in different categories such as U13, U15, U17 and senior team. OKOLI GEORGE I.: This is the assistance coach of of the club from amaubiri lokpaukwu, he also done a wonderfull work in coachin activities to see that all players was well trained. He is currently studying in abia state university too.
